A leading food company known for its diverse range of popular products is seeking a talented individual to join their team as a PSM Coordinator and Facilities/Utilities Planner at one of their key snack production sites.
This PSM Coordinator and Facilities/Utilities Planner will contribute to on-site projects that will have a direct impact on the organization's growth. The candidate will play a critical role in leveraging their strong process safety management background to coordinate activities in industrial plants.
The PSM Coordinator and Facilities/Utilities Planner will have the following responsibilities:
- Coordinate and provide technical support for PSM activities across various departments.
- Advise management on PSM issues and develop solutions.
- Establish and achieve short and long-term PSM goals for continuous improvement.
- Review plant processes for compliance with PSM policies and regulations.
- Manage change and incident reporting software, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Conduct and manage incident investigations and corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate PSM documentation and stay updated on regulatory changes.
- Plan and schedule maintenance tasks to optimize efficiency and safety.
The ideal PSM Coordinator and Facilities/Utilities Planner candidate will have the following skill set:
- Associate's degree and a minimum of 5 years industrial experience.
- Completion of industrial ammonia operator Level 2 course with RETA CIRO certification.
- Minimum 3 years work experience in a Process Safety Management-covered process.
- Minimum 3 years work experience in maintenance planning and scheduling.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA Standards for General Industry regulation 29 CFR 1910.119.
- Knowledge of CMMS and ERP software like SAP.
