An industry leader in aerospace and defense is looking to hire an experienced Strategic Government Sourcing & Subcontract Manager. This role will be responsible for setting sourcing strategy and leading critical, complex, supplier negotiations, and have oversight of subcontract management. The ideal candidate for this role with have experience working within a federal contracting environment, overseeing high-volume and highly-complex contracts and LTAs. This role is open to multiple levels of experience.

Responsibilities:
- Negotiate and manage B2B commercial agreements with a focus on government contracts.
- Drive cost savings initiatives for direct materials, including metals, electronics, machining, and PCBA.
- Collaborate with key supply chain partners to execute strategies and deliver added value and cost savings to the organization.
- Consolidate across the supply base, developing key supplier relationships to meet category requirements.
- Support customer solicitation requests and provide appropriate audit responses.
- Administer FAR/DFAR-compliant subcontract awards.
- Leading high-spend contract negotiations in compliance with TINA
Knowledge and Expertise:
- Expertise in machining technologies, castings/metal injection molding, and engineered components such as sensors, motors, bearings, seals, etc., or electronics such as PCBA, wiring harnesses, and electrical/electronic components.
- Ability to understand and manage complex processes related to sourcing, contract negotiation, and cost management.
Qualifications
- Education: A 4-year bachelor's degree is required; an advanced business degree is preferred.
- Experience:5+ of strategic sourcing experience is required, with a strong background in negotiating agreements in FAR settings.
- Skills: Proficiency in direct procurement B2B contract negotiations, including long-form terms & conditions and multi-year pricing structures, is preferred.
- Certifications: Purchasing and project management certifications are a plus.
- Experience: Knowledge of managing TINA contracts and commodity portfolio management is preferred.
- Travel: Some domestic and international travel is required.

- Base salary: $100,00 - $180,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
