Logistics Engineer (Contract Logistics)
Our client is a global leading logistics service provider currently expanding their project management team for their contract logistics product. They are looking for a strong capable Logistics Engineer to join the team and work on developing and optimising new customer projects and processes, customising systems with IT and developing process flow and layout designs of warehouses for their customers.
Your Responsibilities
- Development, improvement and implementation of new customer projects and processes
- Development of optimization and solution approaches in warehouse logistics
- Creation of databases and database queries with MS Office products
- Development / programming of reports and analysis tools (e.g. with VBA)
- Local operational support and training of new employees
- Monitoring and development of SIGMA projects on various
Your Profile
- Completed business studies with a focus on logistics or a comparable qualification
- Ideally, relevant / several years of professional experience in warehouse logistics
- Very good handling of common MS Office applications, warehouse management systems and warehouse technology
- VBA knowledge desirable and a high level of IT understanding
- Good knowledge of spoken and written German and English
- Creativity, ability to work in a team and high commitment
- Innovative, proactive and solution-oriented thinking and acting
