About the Role
As the Warehouse Manager, you will play a critical role in optimizing warehouse operations and ensuring a seamless material flow to support just-in-time production. Reporting to senior leadership, you will lead a dedicated team, implement Lean methodologies, and drive efficiency across all logistics functions. This position offers the opportunity to shape and enhance warehouse strategies within a high-performance manufacturing environment.
The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for:
- Develop and implement a warehouse operations strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration between supply chain, logistics, and production teams.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve warehouse efficiency and accuracy.
- Identify and mitigate risks to ensure smooth material flow and supply chain continuity.
- Optimize warehouse processes to ensure efficient stock control and accurate inventory tracking.
- Reduce waste and enhance material availability through Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Implement best practices for inventory storage, material handling, and space utilization.
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials to ensure seamless production support.
- Implement automation and digital solutions to improve warehouse efficiency.
- Drive a culture of operational excellence through data-driven insights and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing warehouse team.
The Warehouse Manager should have the following qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse and logistics management, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership experience, with a track record of managing and developing teams.
- Hands-on expertise in warehouse process optimization.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Fluent in German
