Position Overview:
The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for managing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain processes to ensure efficient and effective production, inventory management, and distribution. This role involves forecasting demand, planning inventory levels, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of products to meet customer demands while minimizing costs.

Key Responsibilities:
Demand Forecasting:
- Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and customer orders to forecast future demand.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to align forecasts with business objectives.
Inventory Management:
- Develop and maintain inventory policies to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Monitor inventory levels, identify shortages or excesses, and adjust plans accordingly.
- Implement strategies to reduce excess inventory and minimize waste.
Supply Chain Coordination:
- Work closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics providers to ensure a seamless flow of materials and products.
- Negotiate terms and agreements with suppliers to secure the best terms and ensure reliability.
Production Planning:
- Create and manage production schedules based on demand forecasts and inventory policies.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely manufacturing and delivery of products.
Logistics Management:
- Oversee the transportation and distribution of goods to ensure timely delivery to customers.
- Optimize logistics processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Utilize data analytics tools to monitor supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover, order fulfillment rates, and lead times.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in supply chain management.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., APICS CSCP) are a plus.
Experience:
- 3-6 years of experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, or a related role.
- Managing the S&OP process
- Proven track record of managing supply chain processes in a fast-paced environment.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
