Job Title: Supply Chain Director

Position Overview:
As the Supply Chain Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the strategic direction of the end-to-end supply chain, with a particular emphasis on planning, forecasting, and warehousing management. You will lead a talented team and work closely with cross-functional departments to ensure the efficient flow of materials and products, meeting customer demands while minimizing costs and enhancing operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the long-term supply chain strategy, with a focus on improving planning processes, forecasting accuracy, and warehousing operations to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Lead demand planning, inventory forecasting, and production scheduling efforts to ensure optimal stock levels, align with customer requirements, and minimize supply chain disruptions.
- Oversee warehousing operations, including inventory management, storage optimization, and logistics coordination to ensure efficient handling and timely distribution of goods.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements across the supply chain to drive cost-effective operations and ensure timely deliveries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, logistics partners, and service providers to ensure the reliability and performance of the entire supply chain.
- Identify risks to the supply chain and develop mitigation plans to ensure business continuity.
- Collaborate with teams across the business, including R&D, production, and sales, to align supply chain strategies with broader business goals.
- Utilize data analytics and KPIs to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement in all areas of the supply chain.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Supply Chain Director or in a senior management role within the chemical or manufacturing industry.
- Expertise in demand planning, forecasting, inventory management, and warehousing operations.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management principles, industry best practices, and regulations.
- Experience managing large-scale supply chains, with a focus on planning, forecasting, procurement, logistics, and warehousing.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, forecasting tools, and data analytics platforms.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming supply chain challenges.
