About The Role:
This role has primary supply chain management accountability for overall regional strategy, direction and process ownership. From PO confirmation with the factories through to delivery to the end customer. Specifically, this includes the definition and establishment of all activities from PO confirmation through production, consolidation, shipment and receipt at regional warehouses
The role includes responsibility for the supervision and management of multiple international warehouse operations and transport solutions across EMEA for the full range products. With regional responsibilities for both stakeholder relationships and management of 3PL DC service providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervised all PO production and shipping activities for the EMEA region.
- Managed contractual relationships with a network of regional warehouses, carriers, outbound logistics, and various third-party service providers for EMEA.
- Handled reverse logistics operations.
- Developed a scalable and responsive supply chain organization to meet both organic and inorganic growth challenges.
- Met relevant KPIs, including factory and ATP on-time performance, while addressing and mitigating any failures or issues.
- Implemented consolidation programs across all distribution centers to deliver cost efficiencies, service flexibility, and omni-channel, multi-brand synergies.
- Ensured compliance with service level agreements for all customers and brands.
- Oversaw operational, financial, project management, and continuous improvement responsibilities.
- Managed operations across multiple sites and clients.
- Played a key role in influencing and shaping global supply chain and logistics strategies.
- Developed and harmonized best practices using LEAN/Six Sigma methodologies across territories, channels, and brands to enhance supply chain management in EMEA.
- Collaborated with freight forwarder partners to improve transport service offerings and options on trade lanes, working closely with Integrated Planning, Customer Services, Sales, and other groups to understand customer requirements and drive improvement initiatives.
- Implemented new technologies to streamline and digitize purchase order processes, enhancing shipment visibility for key stakeholders.
- Directed multiple teams across various sites, including 3PL distribution centers and other partners, supporting the organization's growth and expansion plans.
Qualifications:
- 15 years of professional experience in Supply Chain management in FMCG/Retail industry. Balance of experience both in overseeing Warehouse, Logistics and Distribution teams, and executing warehouse door to customer.
- FMCG, or similar industry experience. Preference to e-commerce, multi-channel exposure.
- Track record of leading continuous improvement projects.
- Demonstrate the ability manage 3PL providers and effectively negotiate and monitor contracts. Ensuring service delivery meets or exceeds stakeholder expectations.
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain management principles, best practices, and industry trends.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and drive process improvements.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in supply chain software systems, ERP systems, plus other relevant tools.
- Fluency in English is essential.
