Job Title: Seafood Strategic Sourcing Manager

Job Summary: The Seafood Strategic Sourcing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies for seafood procurement. This role requires extensive international experience, knowledge of import procedures, and the ability to travel nationally. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in seafood procurement, speak multiple languages, and hold a Bachelor's degree, preferably with an MBA in Economics, Finance, or Logistics and Supply Chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for seafood procurement.
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure the best terms and conditions.
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and quality improvements.
- Ensure compliance with international import procedures and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
- Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure quality and sustainability standards are met.
- Analyze procurement data and generate reports to support decision-making processes.
- Travel nationally to meet with suppliers and attend industry events.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in seafood procurement.
- Proven international experience in sourcing and procurement.
- In-depth knowledge of import procedures and regulations.
- Ability to travel nationally as required.
- Proficiency in multiple languages.
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
