KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Enhance Sourcing Management/Process
- Implement innovative and entrepreneurial processes and tools to improve communication and tracking, ensuring seamless sourcing management.
Strategy Development & Execution
- Develop and execute category strategies using strategic sourcing processes and tools.
- Lead market discovery activities with the support of resource analysts to maintain a strong understanding of potential suppliers, their key capabilities, and competitive levels.
- Build and execute negotiation strategies, including competitive bid events and other sourcing tools.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and leadership to ensure alignment and buy-in for category and negotiation strategies.
- Adjust strategies in real-time to maintain accurate reporting in team cloud-based tools.
Savings Delivery & Annual Operating Plan Budget
- Summarize and present negotiation statuses and results to leadership and key stakeholders.
- Ensure negotiated pricing is loaded into the ERP system to support ordering activities.
- Prepare and present the Annual Operating Plan budget for responsible categories.
- Ensure accurate savings projections and results are delivered to Finance.
- Maintain real-time updates on project and negotiation statuses in team cloud-based tools.
Supplier Relationship Management
- Prepare and review supplier scorecards, and discuss them in Quarterly Business Review meetings to ensure accountability for quality, delivery, and financial performance.
- Resolve material supply gaps and quality issues escalated by the buying team.
- Conduct risk analysis and mitigation for all material categories, including capacity analysis, business continuity planning, and financial risk review.
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, including ethical and legal guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of relevant experience in a sourcing role, preferably with packaging category experience.

- A champion of industry knowledge, with firsthand knowledge of key industry players and a significant understanding of strategic sourcing best practices.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to sit for extended periods and interact with computers, telephones, and other electronic media.
- Must possess visual acuity to document company records.
- Must be able to work extended hours, including daily overtime and occasional weekends.
