Senior Buyer - Media at a Leading Global Healthcare Company
Salary Range: $140,000 - $180,000 base salary plus 20% bonus
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Buyer for our client's Media & Communications category based in Morristown, NJ. Main Responsibilities:
- Implement sourcing strategies aligning with both local and global requirements within North America.
- Leverage your expertise in running RFIs/RFPs, manage contracts negotiations to meet savings targets effectively.
- Maintain strong supplier relationship management programs ensuring compliance with all policies duringpre/post-audit phases including crisis situations handling.
- This position will require you not only maintain but also innovate on best practices benchmarked against industry standards while leading corrective actions where necessary.
Necessary Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
- At least five years' experience in media planning/buying combined with two or more years specifically focused on procurement. Skillset Required:
- Paid Media Expertise: Deep understanding of paid channels like social, programmatic display ads essential.
- Benchmark Procurement Techniques & Processes : Proficiency expected around negotiation tactics coupled with strategic purchasing methods commonly employed large scale buying environments . Marketing Collaboration Skills - Ability collaborate cross-functionally teams build out comprehensive approaches tackling various challenges arising from dynamic markets trends especially useful this sector.
