Position Overview: My Client is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Indirect Procurement Manager to join their procurement team. The Indirect Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing the procurement activities for IT Professional Services across the organization. This role will play a crucial part in optimising costs, ensuring supplier performance, and driving procurement strategies that align with the company's objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- **Plan to grow into a director level role**
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for indirect categories such as IT hardware and software, professional services, facilities management, marketing services, etc.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and potential new suppliers.
- Work in IT professional services, marketing, facilities, etc
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers to achieve favorable terms and conditions while maintaining quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as IT, Finance, HR, and Marketing to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
- Manage supplier relationships and performance, conducting regular supplier evaluations and implementing improvement plans as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements throughout the procurement process.
- Monitor and analyze procurement metrics and KPIs to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills and proven experience in contract negotiation and supplier management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa) preferred.
