Position Summary
- Foster strategic relationships with suppliers for talent, technology, and cost advantages
- Oversees a team of 12
- Physician Engagement Experience is a must
- 1B+ in company expenditures
- Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and other functions
- Lead NPI team to integrate sourcing into product development and manage pre-tech transfer projects
- Develop team members and manage hybrid work environments with emotional intelligence
- Increase supplier diversity spend and implement sustainability goals
- Drive digital adaptation, analytics, and insights for continuous improvement in procurement.
- Lead global direct materials strategic sourcing and NPI teams across various categories
- Manage suppliers in multiple regions, setting targets and negotiating contracts
- Develop standardized sourcing processes and track material costs
- Drive year-over-year savings for Direct and Indirect materials
- Drive material cost savings projects in collaboration with R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality
- Implement policies to improve supplier performance in cost, quality, and delivery
- Efficiently manage supplier capacity, allocation, and capital expenditure
- Negotiate complex global contracts to leverage growth
Requirements
- 15+ years of Procurement experience
- 10+ years of people management experience
- BA in Supply Chain, Business, or Operations
