Responsibilities

Industrial Strategy Decoding and Leading Transformation:
Align with Global/BU/GSC/Regional strategies and adapt them to the local context.
Drive new technology and innovation studies, realization, and deployment.
Design and develop new technical methodologies and standardize processes/procedures to align with global industrial strategy and local considerations.
Drive optimization, efficiency, and proximity to the customer.

Support Business Sustainable Growth:
Collaborate with BU, Global tooling teams, and Regional plants to ensure effective implementation and realization of new business introductions.
Optimize tooling activities, including tool status, capacity, Capex, productivity, competence development, and new technology development and deployment in Region.
Optimize workflows and benchmark best practices with Global tooling teams, and Regional plants.

Function Talent and Competency Development:
Develop competency within Regional team and employees through coaching, training, counseling, motivation, and best practice sharing.
Provide technical support and leadership in suppliers' technical competency development according to business needs.

Qualification
Preferably 10+ years of successful experience in the tooling industry, with at least 3 years of experience as a tooling management within industrial companies.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing engineering, tooling design, fabrication, problem diagnosis, and related tooling activities.
Solid background in molding process and stamping process technology.
Good understanding of operational and performance management, including financials, HR, and quality control principles.
Strong leadership skills to excel in a functional position.
Bachelor's degree or above in manufacturing engineering or tooling engineering or related fields.
Fluent in English and Chinese.
Good experience using CAD, Moldflow design & analysis software.
Ability to travel overseas, with frequent domestic travel.
