Job Description:
You will be responsible for managing procurement activities related to assigned projects. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams across different departments including engineering, quality assurance and production planning. Your primary objective will be ensuring timely delivery of required materials at optimal costs while maintaining high-quality standards throughout all stages of the purchasing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop sourcing strategies that align with business requirements
- Identify potential suppliers/vendors through market research or referrals
- Conduct negotiations on pricing terms and contracts
- Maintain relationships with existing vendors/suppliers
- Monitor supplier/vendor performance against agreed-upon KPIs
Qualifications:
To qualify for this role applicants must possess at least three year's experience working within direct procurement preferably within automotive industry coupled together excellent communication skills both verbal/written.
Other qualifications include;
-Degree level education (Engineering or similar)
-A good understanding about e-procurement systems.
-German not essential but is beneficial
