Job Summary:
As the new Procurement Manager (m/f/d), you will be responsible for managing end-to-end purchasing operations of electronic components such as solar panels and wind turbines from suppliers across Germany or other countries where needed. You'll also help source high-quality metal materials that meet international quality standards while ensuring compliance with environmental regulations applicable in these sectors. Your knowledge about mechanical engineering would come handy when it comes down selecting machinery & equipment used throughout project's life cycle.
Responsibilities:
- Lead overall strategic sourcing process
- Develop relationships with vendors worldwide
- Analyse market trends regularly
- Ensure smooth supply chain management through accurate forecasting
Qualifications/ Skills required:
- Minimum 5 years experience working within Renewable Energy sector preferred.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills necessary; must have ability work collaboratively both internally among cross-functional departments but externally too dealing directly customers/vendors globally!
- Must possess strong analytical skillset capable enough investigating complex data sets effectively around detailed technical specifications often found renewable energy tenders/projects requiring thorough examination before contract award decisions made by clients we serve daily!
