Indirect Procurement Manager
Salary: $95,000 - $120,000
Company Profile: One of the leading Food/CPG companies in the world is looking for a Indirect Procurement Manager. This person will assist on the creation of procurement strategy for all North America. This person's focus will focus be on managing the relationships between vendors and suppliers. You will expand the scope of cost savings initiatives, operations, project management, and continuous improvement while strategically identifying sourcing opportunities across the network and drive savings across the CAPEX category. You will be the liaison between Procurement, Manufacturing, and Engineering. The Indirect Procurement Manager will be responsible for the following:
- Manage procurement for categories across North America including CAPEX, MRO, Construction, Real Estate
- Participates in the planning and forecasting process
- Promotes high level of customer satisfaction
- Develops and documents in-depth knowledge of markets, supply chain, and suppliers
- Assists with make vs. buy decisions
- Lead cross functional teams to meet project objectives
The Indirect Procurement Manager should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 4+ years of procurement/purchasing experience
- Category management experience (CAPEX, MRO, Construction, Capital Projects)
- Project management experience is a plus
- SAP/ERP experience
