Job Summary: As a Plant Project Engineering Manager, you will lead and manage engineering projects within our food and beverage manufacturing facility. You will oversee all aspects of project execution, from planning and design to implementation and completion. Your role will involve coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our manufacturing processes and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Plan, execute, and monitor engineering projects to ensure timely and successful completion within budget constraints.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support in areas such as process optimization, equipment selection, and facility upgrades.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure all projects comply with regulatory requirements, company standards, and safety protocols.
Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenditures and controlling costs.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity.
Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and maintenance, to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
Risk Management: Assess and mitigate project risks, ensuring minimal disruption to manufacturing operations.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related field). Master's degree preferred.
Experience: 7+ years of experience in project management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.
