DSJ Global is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Maintenance & Engineering Manager to lead our maintenance operations and oversee various engineering functions, including capital expenditure (CapEx) projects. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing processes, as well as driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day maintenance operations to ensure the smooth functioning of all equipment and facilities.
- Oversee and coordinate engineering projects, including CapEx initiatives, from planning through execution and completion.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.
- Lead and mentor a team of maintenance and engineering professionals, fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards related to maintenance and engineering activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production goals and drive process improvements.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation for maintenance and engineering projects.
- Analyze data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Stay abreast of industry advancements and emerging technologies to keep the facility at the cutting edge of efficiency and innovation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in maintenance and engineering roles within the chemical manufacturing industry.
- Proven management experience, with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
- Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully overseeing CapEx projects.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of maintenance best practices, reliability engineering, and regulatory compliance.
