As an IT Buyer, you will play a crucial role in our procurement team, focusing on IT-related purchases to support our global operations. You will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing contracts for a range of IT products and services, with a particular emphasis on software procurement. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects in a fast-paced, multinational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for IT products and services, including software, hardware, and IT consultancy services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of IT solutions.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand their IT requirements and align procurement strategies accordingly.
- Lead contract negotiations.
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and innovation in IT procurement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations throughout the procurement process.
Qualifications:
- Professional experience in IT procurement, ideally with some exposure to software vendors
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in a multicultural environment. Professional fluency in English essential, additional European languages beneficial but not essential.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
