The site in Kleve, Germany, is undergoing significant expansion, including the addition of two new automated production lines over the next 18 months and a broader site extension within the next 36 months. They seek an experienced Engineering Transformation Manager to oversee these engineering projects, manage local teams, and ensure seamless project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
As the Engineering Transformation Manager, you will:
- Lead the technical scoping, planning, and execution of two new automated production lines, including UHT processes and aseptic filling lines.
- Collaborate with senior managers and present updates to senior stakeholders on project progress.
- Manage a local engineering team of four, including two on-site engineers and an engineering manager.
- Oversee capacity calculations, technical reviews, and optimization of utilities for new production lines.
- Coordinate with OEMs, conduct factory acceptance testing, and ensure commissioning and installation meet KPIs.
- Drive site-level process optimization and engineering improvements to enhance efficiency and performance.
- Plan and manage the site's long-term brownfield expansion, including utility optimization and physical building extension.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards throughout all phases of the project.
Required Skills and Experience
Essential:
- Fluent in German and English.
- Proven experience in UHT processes, aseptic filling lines, or similar manufacturing processes, ideally within the dairy or plant-based product industries.
- Track record of successfully managing new line installations and utility optimization in brownfield expansion projects.
- Strong project management skills, with expertise in overseeing engineering transformations and delivering on KPIs.
- Ability to interact with senior stakeholders and manage complex projects effectively.
Preferred:
- Experience in chocolate or other FMCG production environments.
- Knowledge of CAPS filling lines or plant-based product manufacturing.
