Currently, DSJ Global is partnered with a leading Aerospace & Defense organization whose technologies bring benefits to many aspects of daily life. This organization has a focus on developing and manufacturing products for satellites and launch vehicles. They are looking 5o bring on a new Engineering Manager to oversee the Systems and Analysis Engineering team.
Engineering Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead the Analysis & System Engineering team, ensuring all structural analysis and vehicle certification tasks are completed to meet customer and regulatory standards.
- Act as the US technical authority for Analysis & System Engineering, overseeing relevant requirements and certification activities, and collaborating with customers and the Engineering Tool Kit team.
- Oversee the daily operations of the International Team, including direct headcount management and coordination with contractors and external suppliers as needed.
- Recruit, coach, and mentor team members, enhancing their skills and capabilities to achieve 100% self-sufficiency within the US team.
- Develop roadmaps, schedules, organize and prioritize tasks, and track and communicate progress across all products and initiatives.
Engineering Manager Requirements:
- Educational background in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering; Masters level preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise and a proven track record in structural engineering (metallic and composites).
- Comprehensive understanding and experience in engineering processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Exceptional capacity and budget planning skills, coupled with strong communication abilities.
- Preferred experience in managing large organizations within an international context.
- Knowledge of Space Products and Subsystems design, development, and verification (DDV), as well as testing, is preferred.
Salary: 130,000-160,000
