Salary: $160,000-$190,000
Electrical Maintenance Manager Position Overview: DSJ Global has partnered with a top building materials client who's seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Manager to join their team. This position will lead initiatives to increase the effectiveness of the electrical maintenance staff and processes. The role will focus on maximizing cement and aggregates production by implementing new control methodologies to improve power and control systems reliability. Significant time will be dedicated to developing staff to support preventative maintenance strategies while identifying and executing capital improvement projects for all electrical and automation systems.

- Manage electrical and instrumentation departments to improve efficiencies and reduce costs.
- Develop and implement capital investment opportunities to improve reliability of power distribution and control systems.
- Disseminate technical knowledge to hourly staff through in-house training to enhance technical and troubleshooting skills.
- Develop future managers through training and mentoring.
- Manage relationships with vendors, manufacturers, and consultants.
- Lead safety-related inspections and training to promote a safety culture.
An Electrical Maintenance Manager should have...
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
- 5-10 years of Electrical Engineering experience in power (high voltage) engineering in cement or related heavy industrial/manufacturing industry.
- Strong managerial/supervisory background with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Hands-on experience with programming and troubleshooting control circuits. Experience with Industrial Control products (PLC, VFD, DCS, and HMI).
- Working knowledge of AutoCad, PLC programming, Power Engineering Software, and Short Circuit Analysis.
- Experience with LEAN principles.
