EHS Manager

Having a long history dating back over 100 years while netting $13 Billion in revenue, this company is currently searching for a new EHS Manager that will play a key role in making a difference that matters. By administering Environmental, Health, and Safety programs that follow regulatory and corporate policies, the EHS Manager will oversee over 100 employees with moderate safety complexity.
The EHS Manager will be responsible for:
- Leading EHS planning, which includes goal setting, tending to general facility needs, and facilitating adequate systems for performance reviews and improvements.
- Coordinating EHS assessments and inspections to ensure regulatory requirement compliance, Key Performance Measures (KPM) expectations, and identifying improvement opportunities and recommendations.
- Overseeing the development and implementation of EHS policies and procedures while developing activities that will stimulate employee interest, as well as improving EHS performance.
- Assisting management, supervisors, and employees with creating creative approaches to improve safety protocols, minimize environmental liabilities, and administering EHS initiatives.
- Procuring records to prepare required reports, responding to agency requests, and confirming with EHS requirements. Submitting reports on time and responding to comprehensive requests.
The EHS Manager should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in EHS, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience
- 5+ years of EHS experience
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) is preferred
