Director of Facilities Services

Overview:
A prestigious, rapidly growing retail brand with over 1,200 locations across the U.S. is seeking a highly skilled Director of Facilities Services. This role offers the opportunity to lead a dynamic team supporting retail stores, corporate offices, and distribution centers. You will oversee critical areas such as Repairs and Maintenance, Property Management, and Corporate Facilities Services, while playing an instrumental role in the company's continued expansion and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Facilities Services organization, including Repairs & Maintenance, Property Management, and Corporate Facilities Services for retail stores and corporate facilities.
- Oversee a budget of $80M for repairs, maintenance, and capital projects, ensuring that all budgets are managed effectively and projects meet or exceed store operating standards.
- Develop and manage CAPEX initiatives and a budget of $20M+ in collaboration with various departments, including Store Operations and Finance.
- Supervise corporate workspace expansion and renovation projects, ensuring alignment with the company's growth and providing productive, collaborative environments.
- Act as the main point of contact for municipalities, authorities, and internal teams on critical issues, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other relevant regulations.
- Collaborate on sustainable and cost-effective solutions to improve operational efficiency across facilities, supporting the company's Corporate Social Responsibility efforts.
- Manage a high-performing team of 20+ direct reports and vendors, driving performance, training, and continuous improvement across the facilities services division.
- Implement innovative solutions in areas like lighting, HVAC, and energy, ensuring optimal functioning of all facilities.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in facilities management, with a strong background in multi-site operations.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale budgets and complex capital projects.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving, process improvement, and project management abilities.
- Knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint (intermediate to advanced skills required; knowledge of Access a plus).
- Ability to analyze financial, environmental, and performance data to achieve goals.
- A results-driven leader who can act quickly and decisively to ensure performance standards are met.
- Experience managing high-performing teams, fostering collaboration, and driving high retention rates.
Additional Information:
- 25% travel required.
