DSJ Global is pleased to offer a fantastic opportunity for an experienced procurement professional looking for their next challenge. Our client is seeking an Associate Procurement Director who will be based in our office located in beautiful and vibrant Dublin, Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of direct and indirect procurement within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Develop strategies that enable cost-effective purchasing while ensuring quality standards are met or exceeded.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across various departments including R&D, manufacturing operations, regulatory affairs etc., providing leadership on supplier selection & management processes.
Qualifications/Skills Required
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Experience working within Direct Procurement
- Strong knowledge of Indirect Procurement
- Previous experience leading projects from beginning to end
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven track record managing multiple stakeholders
- At least 8+ years sourcing experience, ideally from Pharmaceutical or Medical Device background
